After the trial period, if you have not canceled it (something you can do yourself from the website or by sending an email to support@nebulb.com) the perpetual license fee will be charged and you will officially become a Nebulb user.

The Nebulb license is perpetual, i.e. you can use this software as long as you want (no subscription).

Once the trial period is over you will be able to use the program on up to 2 different computers.

The Nebulb license includes 1 year of updates (period during which you will receive all the new features and improvements of the software).

After the time you are entitled to updates, the software will continue to work perfectly, although you will no longer receive new updates unless you renew the license (the renewal will have a cost of 20% of a new license).

You will also have email support to report possible problems with the software and to ask questions regarding the use of Nebulb.

Nebulb is for Windows (for the moment)
Currently only the Windows version of Nebulb is available (not for Mac).
However, if you are a Mac user and you are interested in what this software can offer you, you can consider one of these 3 options:

Use a virtual machine, like Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion Pro (free for personal use) that allows you to run Windows applications on a Mac. It is not the most efficient, it is true, but it allows you to perfectly use on a Mac software that only runs on Windows (as is the case of Nebulb).

Install a second partition on your Mac with the Windows 11 operating system (some people do this and enjoy the advantages of having 2 operating systems on the same computer).

Wait for the Mac version to be released (I'm working on it, but no date yet).

  • Why do I have to enter the payment details now?
    Trying Nebulb is free, but out of respect for the enormous effort it has taken to develop it and for the people who have already bought it, access to the trial period of this software requires a minimum commitment on your part: to demonstrate that if you like Nebulb you will buy it.

    If you are only interested in having a look, but have no real interest in it, there is no need to continue.
  • Will I be charged any fees now?
    If you have selected the purchase option "1. TRIAL 21 DAYS (free)" you will not be charged at this time.

    Only a validation of the payment method you have entered will be performed, but you will NOT be charged any fees now.

    Within 21 days, if you have not canceled the trial period, you will be charged the license fee and you will officially become a Nebulb user.
  • What if Nebulb is not for me?
    You have 21 days to try Nebulb and if, during this time, you see that it is not a tool for you you can cancel the order and you will not be charged any fee.

    You can cancel it yourself from the website or, if you prefer, you can send us an email to support@nebulb.com and we will do it (no questions or problems of any kind).

  • Can the payment be split?
    If you choose the purchase option "2. DIRECT PURCHASE" and as a payment method you select PayPal, you will be able to select payment in 3 installments without interest (when you confirm the order within your PayPal account).

    This service is offered by PayPal not Nebulb, but as a buyer you can benefit from it and that is why I have put it.

    With this option you will be charged the first of the installments at the time of confirming the order, as PayPal does not allow you to do otherwise. However, you also have 21 days to try Nebulb and if you see that it is not for you send us an email to support@nebulb.com and we will refund your money (no problems, no questions asked).
  • If I don't have enough time to test the software in 21 days, can I purchase a new trial license to finish testing it?
    The purpose of the trial period is to get an idea of whether this software can be useful to you, not to fully control it. It is possible that during this time you will not process all the types of photos that Nebulb allows, nor will you have tried all its options (or maybe you will, it's up to you), but 21 days is enough for you to see if Nebulb is a software for you or not.

    Also, to avoid possible misuse of the trial licenses, only one trial license can be used only once on the same PC.

    So the answer to the question is: no.
  • What happens when the period with updates ends?
    Nebulb will continue to work the same as before, since the license you purchase when you buy it is perpetual, but you will no longer receive the new features and improvements that will be added to the software.

    After this time, if you want to enjoy new updates you will have to renew the license.
  • How much will it be to renew the license to continue enjoying updates for a longer period of time?
    The license renewal fee will be 20% of the cost of a new license. When renewing the license you will have 1 more year of updates.
  • Will I receive an invoice when I purchase?
    Yes of course, when the license fee is charged you will receive the corresponding invoice by email.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure your billing information is correct so that the invoice you receive is correct.
  • Do I have to enter all my personal data (including my VAT or ID number)?
    The billing data is only necessary in case you need a purchase invoice. If you do not need it, you can fill in these fields with any information (it doesn't matter).

    The important thing is the email address, since the Nebulb license is associated to the email.
  • If I live in the Canary Islands do I have to pay 21% VAT?
    The platform I use for the online sale of Nebulb licenses does not take into account the particular tax situation of the Canary Islands.

    However, if you are a resident of the Canary Islands and you are interested in Nebulb, send us an email to support@nebulb.com and we will tell you how you can place the order to pay the taxes that correspond to you by law.
  • How many computers can I install Nebulb on?
    During the trial period you will only be able to install Nebulb on a single computer, but with the perpetual license you will be able to install Nebulb (and use it simultaneously) on up to 2 computers.
  • Can I share the license with another person?
    The official answer is no, because the Nebulb license is personal and associated to a specific email.

    And the unofficial answer is that we cannot control (nor do we intend to) on which devices Nebulb is installed and used.
  • How do I download Nebulb software?
    When you place your order you will receive an email with the software download link, a simple guide to get you started with Nebulb (first steps) and access to all the software documentation.
  • Does Nebulb have documentation or a user manual?
    Yes.

    Nebulb has an online help center with all the software documentation, quick guides, FAQ section and the possibility to send support tickets in case the question you have is not solved. You will receive access to the help center when you confirm your order.

    In addition to all this, as Nebulb has been designed with simplicity of use as a fundamental principle, you can also use the published video tutorials to learn how to use it. Nebulb's learning curve is quite fast, so with the first video you watch you will probably be able to start using it and getting results.
  • What if I have a problem with the software?
    Nebulb has a help center (with all the software documentation and also a FAQ section) where you can probably find the solution to your question or problem.

    And if you don't find it (or it is not solved) you can open a support ticket or send an email to support@nebulb.com.
  • What versions of Windows does Nebulb support?
    You can install Nebulb on Windows 10 and 11.

    On Windows 7 it is not possible to use it because Microsoft stopped releasing updates for this older version of Windows years ago and, because of that, there are newer components used by Nebulb that do not work on Windows 7.
  • Is there a chance to use Nebulb on a Mac?
    Nebulb is currently only available for Windows. It is likely that in the future there will be a Mac version, but there is no estimated date yet (although what is certain is that it will not be in the short term).

    If you are a Mac user you always have the option of installing a second partition with Windows or using a virtual machine such as Parallels Desktop.

    In addition, when the Mac version comes out you can make a free migration of the Windows license to Mac, extending automatically and at no additional cost the period of updates (as if it were a new license just purchased, but without paying anything). I explain this in more detail above.
  • Does Nebulb support RAW files from my camera?
    Nebulb supports the vast majority of RAW formats (including those of newer cameras and the Fuji cameras) so you will almost certainly be able to open your camera's RAW files directly in Nebulb.
  • Can I import non-RAW images?
    Yes, Nebulb also supports the import of standard image files, such as JPEG or TIFF (8-bit or 16-bit).
  • Do I have to have a powerful computer to use Nebulb?
    It depends especially on the resolution of your pictures (larger images will require more resources). Nebulb is not (and does not pretend to be) as fast as a general photo editing software, but if you edit your photos with your computer without any problems, I would say that Nebulb should work well for you. However, this is something you can evaluate during the trial period.
  • Isn't this software very expensive?
    The truth is that it is difficult to qualify Nebulb in terms of expensive or cheap, because it is a unique software in the world (or at least I have not found anything like it). To me it seems cheap for everything that allows you to enjoy landscape astrophotography, but if it seems expensive to you, don't buy it. I can't tell you more, to be honest.
  • Isn't this software very cheap?
    Well, the truth is that taking into account everything that has allowed me to enjoy landscape astrophotography, it does seem cheap, yes.
